Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and BeautifulCV (“we”, “us”, or “our”) regarding your use of the service at app.beautifulcv.com (the “Service”).

1. The Service

BeautifulCV is an AI-powered tool that stores your career data in a single Master Vault and generates job-specific resumes from it. Features may change, expand, or be discontinued over time.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

• You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
• You sign in with Google. You are responsible for keeping access to your Google account secure.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Submit unlawful, infringing, or fraudulent content.
• Upload career data you do not have the right to use.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or disrupt the Service.
• Use the Service to generate misleading or deceptive credentials.
• Circumvent usage limits, security controls, or access other users’ data.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of all career data, resumes, and job descriptions you provide (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited license to store and process Your Content solely to operate the Service — including sending relevant data to our AI provider to generate tailored resumes. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of Your Content.

5. AI-Generated Output

The Service uses AI to draft and tailor resume content. AI output may contain inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying every resume before using it. We do not guarantee any employment outcome, interview, or job offer.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

• Paid plans are billed through Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record.
• Fees, billing cycles, and plan limits are shown at checkout.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Refund requests are handled per Lemon Squeezy’s policies.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by BeautifulCV and protected by applicable law. These Terms grant you no rights to our intellectual property beyond using the Service as intended.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third parties including Supabase, Anthropic, Lemon Squeezy, and Google. Your use of the Service is also subject to their terms, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BeautifulCV is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits, or opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; data handling follows our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which BeautifulCV operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
